Just in time with the beginning of the the bilateral cooperation agreement in the area of statistics between EU and Switzerland the new European atlas is online on Statistics Switzerlands Web Portal.
The technology behind it ist Macromedia, now: Adobe Flash.

the european atlas looks quite nice. Will it be translated to other languages as well? It would be nice to have an application like that for ‘international usage’. Most statistical stuff I saw in the past was only done by statistical units in their own language.
