Semantic Web: increasing activity

‘”Semantic Technology is here.” That was the resounding message delivered at the 2008 Semantic Technology Conference (“SemTech”) that took place 18-22 May in San Jose, California.’  (said a member of the organizing committee)

There is increasing activity in the field of Semantic Web: Conferences, software development, websites (258,000 results for semantic web googled and 61,300,000 for semantic web yahooed (?)), magazines (try for instance nodalities) and so on. And it’s really fascinating what can be done once data are structured. Look at this very instructing example:
