I think we need some more guidance from Google (Ola Rosling, developer and previous Gapminder, please guide us!) to get this interesting graphical tool to work with our statistical databases. For example, what kind of data formats are appropiate?

The gadget has now been taken down off the Google site without a word of explanation as to why (other than that it never worked in the first place!!)

There’s some nice new documentation for Google’s Visualization API that I recommend checking out. The currently available limited version of Trendalyzer seems to be called the Motion Chart gadget now.
